We spent the day hunting for orchids and mushrooms. We did research and a bit of botany and identification. What’s joy to share this journey with my little nephew who at this young age is so passionate about learning about fungi and the wildflo

Every once in a while I changed the art piece that hangs in front of my bedside, this month I chose this photo I took in a beach on Tofino many years ago. It’s amazing how an image can bring you back to the pass to an exact moment, like a time

Mushroom season starts with the rain, let’s do the rain dance! My heart is already jumping with excitement at the thought of wandering through the woods with friends, searching for mushrooms, discovering orchids, and learning the gifts of this

Spring dreams wishes hope and prayers for better weather and time outside, amen!!

One of those winters mornings in Calgary when everything turns to rime ice.

Take me to the woods.
