$7.00

5x7 Postcard

Front: Landscape scene from Liminal Woodland photographic series, 2023

Back: postcards vintage design

Printed in Calgary, Alberta

The Quechuan name "kayra" could be a perfect description for a fall photograph in Fish Creek due to its representation of a waterfall. "Kayra" in Quechua refers to a waterfall or cascading water, encapsulating the essence of the dynamic and captivating flow of colore in the photograph.

In Fish Creek Park during the fall season, the landscape undergoes a spectacular transformation. The foliage transitions into vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow, creating a stunning visual display. The fall foliage combined with the serene flow of the creek and the cascading waterfalls create picturesque scenes that photographers often seek to capture.

Gardening season is so shorty in Calgary, but at least today all the flowers are out, waiting for the rain. Yes rain again.
During one of my walks in Fish Creek Park, Calgary, I came across this solitary tree, standing quietly atop a hill, overlooking the park below.
It made me wonder how many storms it has watched roll through? How many birds have flown past, and how man
✨ I sold one of my favourite abstract photographs from my latest botanical series created with ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) — a technique I love for its dreamy, painterly feel straight from the camera, with almost no Photoshop involved.

Long way into the mountains, kinda steep but short hike up and a lazy afternoon by the lake. The cherry on top, beers and fries in Kananaskis Village, with the best company. So much fun in the Rockies, what a summer day Alberta!
Good memories with @k
