Using a macro lens, I captured the intimate details of wild orchids of Canada, the light and lines that caught my attention. Some elements are intentionally blurred, sometimes by the lens, sometimes by the plant, and sometimes by other energies.
These prints are deeply special to me because they carry stories of connection in the forest. Captured within them is a space of deep concentration, quiet breathing, and the silence of the woods. I like to imagine that my dad is speaking to me through the viewfinder. Click. I hear my breath synchronizing, calming my body against clumsiness and gravity, capturing a perfect moment in time.
