For four summers, I’ve been photographing and making cyanotypes with flowers from my garden in Canyon Meadows. I spend that time caring and remembering, quiet, meditative moments that became this series. These images are souvenirs of conversations with my lost loved ones, the small lives in the garden: bees dancing through lavender, birds foraging after the rain, deer at the crab apples, and cats winding around my legs. Spring and summer, there feels like a bustling Bolivian market, full of trade, favours, and gentle chaos.
